Conclusion

Perhaps the most important thing to remember when dealing with anger is that it is a matter of choice. It will not just go away when our circumstances change. And simply covering up our anger by not being (or seeming) an angry person doesn’t help, either. Truly being free from anger is not denying, but facing and feeling our emotions to the fullest, not letting them control us, and learning to express them appropriately.

Remember that anger can be constructive and can help build and restore relationships. It can help lead to positive changes when you deal with anger over healthy convictions. If we choose to respond and deal with the root cause of our anger, to feel our true emotions, and to humbly surrender, our anger and emotions can bring about a positive, life-giving change that will not only bless us, but those around us as well.
